This guide will walk you through the process of creating a listing to sell your waste or recycled commodities on the WasteTrade marketplace. The process is quick and easy to complete and this step-by-step guide will show you how.
1. Click "Sell"
From any page on the WasteTrade website, click the ‘Eladó‘ tab at the top. This will take you to the page where you can create your listing.
2. Select Location
Now it is time for your to add the information about the materials you have to sell. The first thing we need to know is where the material is. You can let us know where the commodities you are selling are in the field provided.
3. Upload Images
Next, you can upload images of your materials. It is important that the images you upload are images of the actual materials for sale, and not generic material photos.
It is also important that the images you upload are honest and representative of the materials, as this will help you avoid claims being made against you. For further help with this, you can follow the guide in our resources section on how to take photos.
4. Select Type of Material
Now it is time to add the information about the commodities you are selling. In the fields provided, add in the details about the type and grade of materials you are selling.
It is important that you make sure you select the correct material type to prevent claims being made based on mis-sold listings. If you cannot find your material in the list, or if you need any other help, reach out to WasteTrade support for assistance.
5. Select Quantity & Price
Next, you can add add details about the price you want to get for the commodities you are selling, as well as the quantity of the materials you have for sale.
You can select your currency and add in prices, tonnage, No. of loads, and availability in the fields provided.
6. Select Availability
In the ‘Material Availability’ field, select the date that your commodities are available from to let potential buyers know how soon they could expect to receive your materials.
Knowing precise availability information helps customers to feel more confident about making purchases, as they will not be left wondering about how long they will be kept waiting to receive the goods they purchased.
7. All Done
Once you have completed all the fields, simply click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page. This submits your listing to the WasteTrade team for final checks before the listing goes live.
WasteTrade carriers out these checks to make sure you have included all the necessary information for your to be able to sell your goods as quickly as possible. It also helps WasteTrade to ensure that our platform remains a safe and secure environment for businesses to trade in waste and recycled commodities.
8. Awaiting Approval
Once you have submitted your listing, it will go to our team for approval. This is a quick process in which we make sure all the necessary information has been added and the images are of a suitable quality.
If all is in order, we will approve your listing and your material will become available on the piactér. If we require any clarification or further information to approve your listing, a member of the team will contact you to resolve the issue.
9. Listing Approved
Once approved, your listing will become accessible on the WasteTrade Marketplace for all our users to view and bid on. When you receive a bid on your listing, you will receive a notification informing you of the interest in your commodities.
Once you have received a bid you are happy with, you can accept it and the listing will feed into our haulage platform. Here, WasteTrade will automate the arranging of haulage and the generation of all customs and other necessary documentation.
