Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Merry Christmas

As we bid farewell to an exceptional 2023, we want to extend our warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all our users.

This year has been monumental for us at WasteTrade. We’ve grown significantly, with thousands of businesses now registered on our platform. It’s your trust and support that have propelled us from strength to strength.

In the early part of 2023, we expanded into a new office, allowing us to grow our dedicated team. We welcomed new commodities managers, web developers, cyber security experts, sales staff, and customer support staff, each playing an integral role in our journey forward.

Our commitment to fostering a more circular economy has never been stronger. This year, we broadened the scope of our platform to include not just plastics, but also metals, rubber, paper, and card. This expansion has empowered us to divert a greater range and quantity of materials away from landfills, keeping them in use within various industries.

We proudly represented WasteTrade at several trade shows this year, including PRSE 2023 in Amsterdam, Plast 2023 in Milan, and Interplas UK in Birmingham. These events allowed us to register hundreds of new businesses on the platform, facilitating the recycling of thousands of tonnes of materials.

Innovation remains at the heart of what we do. This year, we embarked on exciting projects in the machine learning space. We also forged valuable relationships and partnerships with universities and local and national authorities. Together, we’re working towards bringing entire countries closer to a circular economy through closed-loop material use and waste management.

Looking ahead to 2024, we are eager to continue our growth. We plan to expand our team further, upgrade our website to handle an increased volume of transactions, and accommodate even more materials. We’re excited to attend more trade shows, including PRSE 2024 in Amsterdam. If you’re attending, we invite you to visit us in Hall 10 Stand No. U31.

Next year promises new adventures and collaborations. We’re thrilled about our upcoming projects, partnerships with other companies, and closer work with governments and our university research partners. We can’t wait to share these exciting developments with you in the coming year.

Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our WasteTrade community. Here’s to a greener, more circular, and prosperous 2024!
