WasteTrade Are Sustainability Champions | The Big Sustainability Expo 2022

The Big Sustainability Expo 2022

Last week on Thursday 22nd September, WasteTrade exhibited at The Big Sustainability Expo 2022. This event brought together leaders in corporate sustainability from all sectors of the economy.

We had the opportunity to meet with many different individuals and businesses to discuss what we at WasteTrade, together with ThinkCarbon, are doing to change the world for the better.

We were delighted by how well received WasteTrade was and all the positive feedback we were given by our fellow exhibitors and the other attendees. As this show was for more than just representatives of the waste industry, it opened us up to a broader and more diverse range of perspectives from experts in all areas of sustainability.

This insight will be invaluable to us moving forward, as will the new relationships we forged with likeminded companies, institutions and individuals.

Not only did we exhibit at the show, but we were also represented as Sustainability Champions – something we are extremely proud of. Sustainability Champions are organisations that have pledged to support and assist businesses navigating their own sustainability strategies.

Helping businesses to achieve their sustainability goals and transition to a more circular economic model is why WasteTrade exists, so becoming a Sustainability Champion was the perfect match.

We are also very proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist for this year’s ‘Waste’ award, for businesses at the cutting edge of waste innovation. Billions of tonnes of waste every year are disposed of unsustainably; WasteTrade offers technological solutions to remove the barriers to ethical waste disposal and to make recycling as easy and as profitable as possible. By making recycling a more viable option for businesses, we reduce waste, pollution and carbon emissions all while helping businesses to generate new streams of revenue.

To stay up to date with all the events WasteTrade will be attending in the future, as well as our other upcoming plans, make sure you are following us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and that you are regularly checking our website for updates.
